No major changes expected when the last Florida jobs report of the year is released later this morning. The state's unemployment rate was 3.2-percent for October, unchanged from the September rate, and down 0.1 percentage point from a year ago. Bankrate's Greg McBride says the job market is the best it has been since 2016, but that doesn't mean employees are getting regular raises, half of us workers did not see a salary increase this year. He says only those that took on added responsibilities or those with jobs that are hard to replace got pay bumps. Even without raises, employees seem happy on the job, the Bankrate survey shows only 1 in 4 workers intends to look for a new position next year.
